We are seeking our first Data Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. They will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and developing automated data pipelines. The Data Engineer will work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that data is available to support our business goals and objectives.
● Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure for the protocol
● Build and maintain data pipelines to collect, process and store data from various sources
● Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data
● Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions to support business objectives
● Design and implement data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting
● Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights
● Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval systems
● Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering tools and technologies and implement best practices
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
● 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role
● Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or other data languages
● Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling
● Knowledge of data management and processing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and NoSQL databases
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills
● Experience with DeFi protocols and blockchain technology
